We are in the winter term and getting ready for Christmas performances in churches, care homes, pubs and village halls. Our standard is 100 Carols for Choirs.
7th December, Saturday – St Boniface Christmas Choir begins rehearsing. We usually form the bulk of the Christmas choir (along with a few Decibellas people!) and we rehearse the last 3 Saturday mornings before the main carol service on the 22nd, which we lead, and also perform two choir-only pieces. It is conducted by Marcus of the Decibellas and is generally a lot of fun. Rehearsals are 10-12am on the 7th, 14th and 21st, and there will be one on the Sunday afternoon before the evening Carol Service too.
